Raffi Torres Suspended Indefinitely

Phoenix Coyotes forward Raffi Torres has been suspended indefinitely, pending an in-person hearing Friday April 20th, according to NHL.com.

The hearing will convene Friday at the NHL’s headquarters in New York, to discuss an illegal hit Torres delivered to Chicago forward Marian Hossa in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The hit came late in the first quarter as Torress left his feet knocking Hossa to the ice, where he was then carried off in a stretcher.
