Hayes spent the past four seasons with the Buccaneers, with whom he started a total of 42 games.  Last season, he recorded 64 tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles. The Bears released wide receiver Komar, who only appeared in two games last season and did not record a catch.  The Bears' most notable acquisition at the receiver position this offseason has been Brandon Marshall, who was formerly with the Miami Dolphins.
