The New York Jets are considering signing former wide receiver Braylon Edwards, according to a tweet from Bob Glauber of Newsday.

 

Edwards is currently a free-agent after a one-season stint with the San Francisco 49ers. In just nine games with the squad he tallied 15 receptions for 181 yards. The 29-year-old played with the Jets from 2009-2011. His final year with the team he had 53 receptions for 904 yards and seven receptions.
