Greer started all 16 games for the Saints last season, recording 62 tackles and one interception. It was his third year as a regular starter in New Orleans. A former Tennessee Volunteer, Greer broke into the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, who signed him in 2004 as an undrafted free agent. Greer had five productive seasons in Buffalo before signing a four-year deal with the Saints in the spring of 2009.
