NFL Draft prospect and former Nebraska cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was arrested Saturday on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, according to the Huffington Post.

According to the Huffington Post, officers were trying to break up a fight outside of a Lincoln, Nebraska bar around 2 a.m. when Dennard punched an officer who tried to intervene in the head. He was arrested after a brief struggle. The 22-year-old has been projected as high as second-round pick, according to the Huffington Post, but the arrest could drop his stock. He was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2011.
