The NFL has voted to increase the roster limit for teams from 80 to 90, according to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello.

[tweet https://twitter.com/gregaiello/status/194542361899053056 align='center'] According to Aiello, the 90-player limit includes both active and inactive players, practice squad members, exempt and reserve list players, unsigned draft choices and franchise free agents. The roster cut down from 90 players to 75 will now occur after the third preseason weekend, according to Aiello.
