Robin Ventura Will Stick With Closer Hector Santiago

Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura said yesterday that he plans to stick with rookie closer Hector Santiago, according to the Chicago Tribune.

"I think stuff happens," Ventura said. "But we're still going with him. He's going to be fine."

Santiago gave up a game-tying two run home run to Yoenis Cespedes of the Oakland Athletics yesterday in a blown save, marking his second blown save of the year. The 24-year-old stopper has allowed four home runs this year in just 6.1 innings pitched.
