Cleveland Browns May Look To Trade Colt McCoy

Cleveland Browns general manager Tom Heckert said that he would consider trading quarterback Colt McCoy, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

"It's something we'll talk about tonight and tomorrow,” Heckert said when asked if he would try and move the third year quarterback.

The Browns used their second draft pick last night to select Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden. While there had been rumors leading up to the draft that the Browns had interest in Weeden, it was still widely believed that the team would stick with 2010 draftee Colt McCoy for the 2012 season.

"We got a new quarterback that's going to be with us," head coach Pat Shurmur said. "Tonight is about Brandon Weeden, not about the competition."
