The Boston Red Sox have activated left-handed relief pitcher Rich Hill from the disabled list, the Associated Press is reporting.

Hill gave up two runs in nine innings of rehab work in the minor leagues. He last appeared in a game in early June of last season, when he left the mound holding his pitching elbow. Hill had Tommy John surgery about a week later.
