Report: Terrell Stoglin Leaving Maryland For NBA Draft

Terrell Stoglin, the leading scorer in the ACC this past season, will be leaving the University of Maryland after two seasons to enter the NBA draft, a source tells Jeff Barker of the Baltimore Sun.

With the May 8 deadline looming for college players to declare early, both Stoglin's family and the university remained tight-lipped about the sophomore guard's decision.

"I don’t know what’s going on," father Joe told the Sun on Sunday night. "I haven’t heard from the coaches or anything."

At the end of the Terrapins' season, Stoglin said he planned to return for his junior year; he later amended that statement to say he was weighing his options. Now, reportedly, he's gone.
