Rivera, who routinely shags fly balls in center field and hopes to play the position in a game once before he retires, was injured just after 7 p.m. Manager Joe Girardi was among the Yankee contingent watching him propped onto the back of a flatbed truck and carried off the field. No further information is yet available about Rivera's injury.
