Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed says that Terrell Suggs' absence will be greatly missed by the team's defense, according to NFL.com.

“We know what Terrell Suggs brings to the table, the fear that he puts in quarterbacks’ heads. So he’s definitely going to be missed," Reed said on WJZ-FM, according to NFL.com.

"Knowing that Terrell was coming off the edge at times ... you knew that ball is going to come out faster," he said.

Suggs suffered a torn Achilles last week while training for the 2012 season. He hopes to be back as early as October, but some believe he will be out for the entirety of the year. Suggs had 70 tackles, 14 sacks, seven forced fumbles and two interceptions last season.
