Report: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Waive Rookie QB Jordan Jefferson After Four Days

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed ex-LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson on Sunday and added him to their 90-man offseason roster. By Sunday, Jefferson was let go, according to Pro Football Talk.

New head coach Greg Schiano had high hopes when they signed Jefferson earlier in the week.

“There’s a lot of upside there,” coach Greg Schiano said following Jefferson’s minicamp tryout last weekend, according to the report. “So I think we would like to have a chance to work with him.”
