Report: Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp Will Undergo MRI

Los Angeles Dodgers centerfielder Matt Kemp will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring, according to ESPN.com. Kemp left Sunday's game with the injury.

Manager Don Mattingly said that he would be open to placing Kemp on the 15-day disabled list as a precaution.

"I'm not afraid to do it if that is what we have to do,'' Mattingly said, according to the report. "I will let the medical people tell us what they think. They know a lot more about it than me. We will talk about it. We'll talk to (general manager) Ned (Colletti) about it. Everybody will be involved in a decision like this.''

Kemp, however, has a different outlook.
