Report: Bears' Jay Cutler Doing Well In Recovery From Thumb Surgery

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler says his right thumb is fine and he'll be ready for the 2012 season, according to the Associated Press.

Cutler suffered a fractured thumb late last November in a Week 11 win over the San Diego Chargers. He underwent surgery in the offseason to repair the thumb, and he now says he's doing well.

"It's fine," Cutler said of the thumb. "I really didn't throw a lot in the offseason, rehabbed a little bit and came back and felt good."
