Report: Twins' Justin Morneau Nearing Return From Wrist Injury

Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau took some swings in batting practice today and he now says his sore left wrist is feeling good, according to the Associated Press.

Morneau, who hasn't played since April 30, is eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list Wednesday. He plans to take BP again tomorrow as his final test before reentering the starting lineup.

The Twins open an eight-game road trip on Wednesday in Detroit; Morneau plans to be ready.
