Dallas Cowboys guard Mackenzy Bernadeau has undergone hip surgery, sources have told ESPN Dallas/Fort Worth.
The 26-year-old reportedly had the surgery this weekend to repair a tear in his hip. The procedure could put him out 10-12 weeks. The Cowboys signed Bernadeau to a four-year, $11 million deal as a free-agent this spring. The club had hoped to make the fifth year player a starter. He had previously played for the Carolina Panthers for four seasons.
