Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul told the media following Thursday night’s Game 2 loss to the San Antonio Spurs that he needs to step his own game up.

"I'm just missing," Paul said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "I just have to play better. In order for us to make this a series, I personally have to play better."

Paul scored just 10 points while committing eight turnovers in his club’s 105-88 loss to the Spurs. In Game 1 of the series he had just six points, but did contribute 10 assists in another Clippers loss. During the regular season, Paul averaged 19.8 points and 9.1 assists per game.
