Free agent tight end Dallas Clark visited with the New England Patriots earlier this week, according to the Boston Globe.

Clark hauled in 34 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns in 2011 for the Colts. His best year came in 2009-10 when he had 100 receptions for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Patriots are considered an unlikely destination for Clark because they already boast star tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
