The New York Jets have signed safety Yeremiah Bell to a one-year, $1.4 million deal, according to ProFootball Talk.

Bell, 35, recorded 107 tackles and one interception in 16 games for the Miami Dolphins in 2011. The former Pro Bowl safety was released by the Dolphins in March. Bell had played his entire career for the Dolphins, recording 562 tackles and six interceptions in eight seasons. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2009.
