Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has always been a high-risk, high-reward impact player. That style of play led the Eagles to a disappointing 8-8 season in 2011.

During this offseason, Vick and quarterbacks coach Doug Pederson studied more film in a effort to eliminate the turnovers that cost the Eagles a playoff berth in 2011.  Vick threw 14 interceptions and fumbled four times, and the Eagles coughing up the football 38 times, which were second in the NFL. Vick also had 19 passes batted down which Pederson said was "way too many."

"I've had a chance to sit down with Mike, one-on-one ... for me not only to teach off of that but just to watch his expression, see how he reacts to the negative," Pederson told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Tuesday. Vick only turned the ball over nine times in his first year as a Eagles starter in 2010.

Vick completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 3,303 yards for the 8-8 Eagles in 2011.
