Dodgers' Matt Kemp reinjures left hamstring vs. Brewers

In the bottom of the first inning of Wednesday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers centerfielder Matt Kemp appeared to reinjure his left hamstring scoring from first on an Andre Ethier double.

According to David Vassegh of AM 570 Fox Sports L.A.:

Tony Gwynn Jr. replaced Kemp in centerfield in the top of the second.

According to Steve Dilbeck of the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers confirmed that Kemp aggravated his previous hamstring injury and is scheduled for an MRI on Thursday.

Kemp had just returned to action on Tuesday after missing 14 games with the bum hamstring. He was hitting .355 with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs entering Wednesday's action. The Dodgers actually gained a half game in the standings in Kemp's absence, but the last thing the team wants to see is its MVP candidate sidelined again.
