Report: Ray Allen considering Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat

Ray Allen is more likely to sign with the Miami Heat or Los Angeles Clippers than he is to leave the Boston Celtics for the New York Knicks, according to a report from Jared Zwerling of ESPNNewYork, citing a "source very close with Allen's situation."

[A] source very familiar with Allen's situation told ESPNNewYork.com that the Heat, as well as potentially the Clippers, will be more attractive to the five-time All-Star in the offseason because they're top teams that can offer more than the veteran's minimum of $1.4 million. That will likely be the Knicks' spending limit for free agents.
If Allen stays in Boston, he will come off the bench behind the young Avery Bradley, who sat out most of the 2012 playoffs because of injury. If he moves to Miami, he would back up Dwyane Wade, but if he signs with the Clippers, who could offer Allen the most money, he would likely start over Randy Foye, assuming his ankle injury isn't a nagging one.
