Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is going into another year of uncertainty with his job.

He tells the Cincinnati Inquirer that he and the organization have not spoken in a while about a contract extension.  Lewis signed a two-year deal at the end of the 2010 season.

Bengals training camp opens July 31 and Lewis said he did not know if his contract situation would be settled by then. The Bengals went 9-7 and earned a wild-card playoff berth where they  lost to the Houston Texans 31-10 last season. Lewis has an overall record of 69-77-1 in 10 seasons with the team.
