11 players withdraw from NBA Draft

Eleven players who declared for the 2012 NBA Draft have withdrawn, allowing those players to go back to their original college teams or back overseas. Currently there are still 49 collegiate and seven international players that remain in the draft. Kentucky center Anthony Davis is considered to be the top pick, which the New Orleans Hornets were awarded through the draft lottery.

Only one of the eleven that withdrew played in the United States last year. Florida Atlantic junior guard Raymond Taylor averaged 8.9 points per game in 2011-12. The 5-foot-6 guard originally planned to sign with an agent in March after declaring for the draft.
