It seems there are more teams willing to throw their hand in the Brandon Roy sweepstakes.

The Golden State Warriors said they are interested in the former Portland Trail Blazers guard. Roy wants to return to the NBA after leaving the game because of problems with his knees.

“I told (Roy) when he was amnesty-ed. I hope this isn’t it for you. Make sure this isn’t it," Warriors general manager Bob Myers told CSNBayarea.com. "He’s said publicly he wants to come back, so I’ll start to talk to him. It depends how everything goes for us and what his expectations are and all of that. But absolutely I’ll talk to him.”

Last December, the Blazers used the amnesty clause to waive Roy. Roy, who won the Rookie of the Year award in 2006-07, is a three-time All-Star and averaged 19 points and 4.7 assists in five seasons with Portland.
