Dodgers SS Dee Gordon to miss six weeks with ligament tear in thumb

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Dee Gordon suffered what was thought to be a dislocated right thumb in the eighth inning of Wednesday's win over the Cincinnati Reds when he slid headfirst into third base. But an MRI on Thursday revealed a more serious injury.

Per Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times:

Gordon leads the majors with 30 stolen bases. Luis Cruz moved from third to shortstop to replace Gordon on Wednesday, but it's unclear if he is the long-term solution.
