Rangers' Josh Hamilton leaves game in fifth inning with lower back spasms

Texas Rangers centerfielder Josh Hamilton was removed from Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins in the bottom of the fifth inning because of lower back spasms.

According to Richard Durrett of ESPNDallas.com, Hamilton grabbed at his lower back a few times after he got a bit turned around and dropped a deep fly ball in the top of the fifth.

Leonys Martin pinch-hit for Hamilton with two outs in the bottom of the inning and stayed in centerfield.
