There is good news for the Chicago Bulls and their fans. Derrick Rose's rehab of his surgically repaired left ACL is ahead of schedule, according to ESPN.com.

Reggie Rose, Derrick's brother and manager, said the former MVP is walking around fine and is rehabbing in Los Angeles.

"He's walking without a (brace)," Reggie Rose said. "He's way ahead of schedule. It's just keeping him focused, and we're not trying to rush him. Basically, just rehab, rehab, rehab. We haven't put nothing basketball in his face."
Rose injured the knee in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bulls went on to lose that series, 4-2. He had surgery on May 12 and is expected to miss the first part of the regular season.
