Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group reports that the Golden State Warriors are going after free-agent power forward Carl Landry, late of the Hornets.

A source tells Thompson that talks are progressing, but Golden State doesn't have a lot of cap room to make Landry a substantial offer.
