Louis Murphy traded to Panthers

The Carolina Panthers needed help at wide receiver, and it looks as if they've gotten it. As first reported by Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole in a tweet, the Oakland Raiders receiver has been dealt to the Panthers. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Murphy was the Raiders' best receiver in the 2010-2011 season, his second as a professional after being drafted out of the University of Florida in 2008. However, he experienced a sharp drop in production last year, only appearing in 11 games as a substitute with 15 total receptions.
