The Chicago Bears acquired defensive tackle Brian Price from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an undisclosed draft pick, the team announced Thursday. Price must pass a physical before the trade is complete.
Price, a 2010 second-round draft pick out of UCLA, recorded three sacks and 24 tackles in 14 starts in Tampa Bay with Tampa Bay last season. He saw limited action in his rookie season because of a hamstring problem.
Price was absent from offseason work because of the death of his sister and also missed time because of a fight with rookie safety Mark Barron.
