Stanford University has reportedly found their next athletic director.

Jon Wilner of the Mercury News reports that Delaware athletic director Bernard Muir will be hired to the same position at Stanford.

Muir takes the reins of an athletic program that has won the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup 18 of the past 19 years. He replaces Bob Bowlsby, who left in May to become the commissioner of the Big 12. He will become the seventh AD in Stanford's history. Muir leaves Delaware after three years as athletic director, a job he took after previously holding the same position at Georgetown.
