Andre Johnson leaves Texans practice with groin injury

After an injury-plagued 2011-2012 season, the Houston Texans' Andre Johnson is starting off on the trainer's table again. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the wide receiver was forced to leave Sunday's practice with a groin injury.

McClain later reported that Johnson walked off the field with a limp. When asked about his status, Johnson said he did not know the extent of the damage.

Johnson appeared in only seven games last season, amassing 33 receptions for 492 yards. Johnson figures to be the Texans' main threat at the wide receiver position this season, along with the veteran Kevin Walter.
