A source tells Brian T. Smith of the Salt Lake Tribune that free-agent guard C.J. Miles has a number of suitors, but that at the moment he favors the Los Angeles Lakers.
Miles, 25, has spent his entire seven-year career with the Utah Jazz, who drafted him out of high school in 2005. He averaged 12.8 points two seasons ago but otherwise has never been in double figures, scoring 9.1 per game this past season. However, Miles' athleticism and defensive skills are also above average, making him a valuable reserve even if he is not a high-volume scorer.
