Report: Penn State TE Kevin Haplea is transferring to Florida State

A source tells Corey Dowlar of ESPN.com that Penn State tight end Kevin Haplea intends to transfer to Florida State.

The 6'4", 248-pound Haplea saw action in every game last season, and Dowlar writes that Haplea's blocking played a key role in springing RB Silas Redd for more than 1,200 yards. Haplea caught just three passes for 21 yards and a touchdown in 2012.

Haplea is the fourth Nittany Lion to leave the program since NCAA sanctions were announced. He is a junior and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
