The Seattle Seahawks will try to sign free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, who did not play in the NFL last season, reports ESPN's Ed Werder.
The 38-year-old Owens reportedly had a strong workout for the team in which he ran the 40-yard dash in less than 4.5 seconds.
Owens, known for drawing the spotlight to himself, went unsigned last season. He had knee surgery after catching 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns with the Bengals in 2010.
Trying to earn another shot in the NFL, Owens played for the Indoor Football League's Allen Wranglers, but the team cut Owens.
