Florida sophomore quarterback Jeff Driskel, in competition for the team's starting job, broke a bone in his non-throwing shoulder during Tuesday's practice, according to reports.
Driskel and fellow sophomore Jacoby Brissett had yet to separate from each other in the fight to start for the Gators. “Obviously, the quarterback I’d like to be a little more settled,” Florida coach Will Muschamp told reporters Monday. “Again, my confidence level is overly high in both guys. I’d just like to settle in where we are as far as that’s concerned."
