New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will sit out the team's game tonight against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe reports.

The Patriots are resting Brady and others because the team will have a busy week, Howe reports. The Patriots will have joint practices with the Buccaneers during the week and then play Tampa Bay in a preseason game Friday.
