Former Florida State and current Valdosta State senior cornerback Greg Reid tore his ACL in the team's final preseason scrimmage, reports CBSSports.com. Reid will be out for the season.

Reid hurt his knee returning a punt in a non-contact drill last week.

Reid was dismissed by Florida State for a violation of team rules and joined the Valdosta State team on August 14. Reid has been arrested twice in the past year, including misdemeanor traffic violations and misdemeanor marijuana possession in July.
