Report: NFL will seek dismissal of concussion-related lawsuits
The NFL will file a motion to dismiss the pending concussion-related lawsuits filed by former players, according to Paul D. Anderson, the editor of a website devoted to tracking the concussion lawsuits against the NFL.
Anderson also reported that on Tuesday another lawsuit was filed by 54 players, including former Cardinals wide receiver David Boston.
Hall of Fame running backs Tony Dorsett and Eric Dickerson are among the players who have filed lawsuit. The lawsuits argue that the NFL "fraudulently concealed long-term effects of head trauma," a legal expert told The Sporting News.
