Chris Faulk injury: LSU left tackle reportedly is done for the season

Three sources told Randy Rosetta of the New Orleans Times-Picayune that LSU junior left tackle Chris Faulk likely will miss the rest of the season with a major knee injury.

Faulk hurt the joint during practice on Wednesday, with coach Les Miles alluding to "a little bit of bad news" after the session. The 6-foot-6, 323-pound Faulk had started the last 15 games -- all 14 in 2011 and the season opener last Saturday -- at LT.

In his first 2013 mock draft back in May, SI.com's Andrew Perloff projected Faulk to go off the board at No. 12 in the first round.
