Matt Schaub led the Houston Texans to a 30-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins this afternoon. Then he ensured he'd be around for many future Texans victories.
The veteran quarterback signed a four-year, $30 million extension to his contract that could see him make up to $62 million over the course of the deal, the Texans announced today.
Widely considered to be among the top quarterbacks in the NFL, Schaub joined the Texans in 2007 after three years with the Atlanta Falcons. He led the Texans to their first playoff appearance ever last season, though he was injured during the playoffs themselves.
