An Arkansas football program still reeling from last week's 34-31 upset loss to Louisiana-Monroe -- not to mention numerous off-season distractions -- will reportedly attempt to rebound against Alabama without starting quarterback Tyler Wilson.

Arkansas sports talk show host Bo Mattingly reports Wilson has not been cleared to play after suffering a head injury that required hospitalization last week.

Sources told ESPN.com that Wilson will not play, despite Arkansas coach John L. Smith calling it a game-time decision.

"There will be no further update on Tyler Wilson's status today," Smith said in a statement.
