Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham was arrested Monday afternoon in midtown Atlanta on two misdemeanor obstruction charges, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Cunningham reported.

The Journal-Constitution reported that police and firefighters were responding to a call about a woman threatening to jump from a building. Abraham, for unknown reasons, repeatedly declined requests to leave the area and was determined to get closer to the scene of the incident. It was not clear if Abraham knew the woman in question.

The woman did not jump and did not suffer any injuries, the Journal-Constitution reported. Abraham was charged with obstruction of police and obstruction of firefighters.

In three games this season, Abraham has five tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble.

Abraham is the second Falcons player arrested in the last week. Around 5 a.m. last Tuesday, running back Michael Turner was arrested on a DUI charge in suburban Gwinnett County, hours after the Falcons beat the Denver Broncos in their Monday Night Football matchup.
