However, fans hoping for a quick resolution to the labor dispute shouldn't get too excited, according to RDS' Renaud Lavoie:

The Union and NHL owners have disagreements on a variety of issues that need to be resolved in a new collective bargaining agreement, including the player's share of league revenue and maximum contract length.
