Georgia wide receiver Michael Bennett tore his ACL yesterday and is out for the rest of the season, the team announced Wednesday.

Bennett, a sophomore from Alpharetta, Ga., had 24 receptions for 345 yards and four touchdowns this season, including catching five passes for 70 yards and two scores in the 51-44 victory over Tennessee last Saturday. The fifth-ranked Bulldogs play at sixth-ranked South Carolina this Saturday.
