Michael Vick declines to say whether he owns a dog

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick today declined to answer a question asking whether he owns a dog.

"I'm here to strictly talk about football," Vick said. "What goes on in my personal life is not to be talked about. What's most important right now is the Philadelphia Eagles and getting the win Sunday."

The question regarded last week's home photo showing an open box of Milkbone dog biscuits. The image, tweeted from Vick's Twitter account and seen on CrossingBroad.com, shows Vick and his daughter at a table, with the Milkbones box to the side. The tweet was later deleted, followed by a similar image without the box.

Vick can legally own a dog and has discussed getting one for his family with CNN's Piers Morgan. He was not allowed to own a dog as part of the terms of his past probation following his release from prison in May of 2009. He served 19 months in a federal prison for owning and operating a dogfighting ring.
