Tracy McGrady made the official announcement that he would be heading overseas to play for the Qingdao Eagles in China. The seven-time NBA All-Star expressed his gratitude towards the NBA and excitement to play in China on his Facebook page:

"The NBA was my University and I learned so much. The gratitude I feel is really immeasurable," McGrady said. "As I enter this next chapter, I am excited to play for Qingdao Eagles in China. I have been to China several times in the last few years and I love the people and the country. It will be an honor to play for them."
During his time in the NBA, McGrady, 33, was hampered by knee problems and the Eagles' GM said the forward would "undergo a thorough physical" upon arrival, according to the Wall Street Journal. McGrady is expected to join the team on Oct. 24 or 25.
