Seminoles running back Chris Thompson out for year with ACL tear

The Florida State Seminoles will play the rest of the season without their starting running back, Head Coach Jimbo Fisher announced today. Chris Thompson suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of Florida State's game against Miami on Saturday night and did not return to the game. Subsequent tests revealed that Thompson tore his ACL in the knee.
